'It has been a privilege and a pleasure to be one of the ten ‘Masters’ during the first few years of the MA Dramatic Writing. Under Jennifer Tuckett’s visionary leadership this industry-focused course has quickly established itself as the pre-eminent postgraduate writer training programme. The combination of giving free reign to industry tutors to set vocational tasks alongside academic rigour is unique, while being able to R&D with students new creative forms in a ‘Lab’ format each and every year is of real practical value to our company. I am delighted that some of this learning is being disseminated further with this book.' Fin Kennedy, Artistic Director, Tamasha Theatre Company

'It's been a great experience working on the new Central Saint Martins MA Dramatic Writing course - focusing on what it takes for new dramatic writers to break through into the highly competitive creative industry - looking at both innovative creative approaches to the craft of dramatic writing and at the down-to-earth practicalities of first forging and then sustaining a working life as a dramatic writer.'
