DESCRIPTION
The film industry is seeking fresh screenwriting talent and increasingly sophisticated movie goers are demanding unique story concepts and experiences. Today's writers don't just need to be accomplished at their craft - they need to be highly creative. The Creative Screenwriter is a workbook of inspiring writing exercises to sharpen the writer's talents.

Each exercise is designed around a specific theme: Finding Ideas, Developing Stories, Creating Characters, Shaping Relationships, Defining Structure, Exploring Genre, Effective Scene Writing, Visual Storytelling, Improving Dialogue, Managing Re-Writes, Developing a Voice, Perfect Pitching, Outlines and Treatments. The writer can work through sequentially, or navigate alternatively through the workbook using the innovative Work Plans and tailor-made packages written to tackle specific issues such as writer's block, polishing your script and selling stories.

This is a book to return to again and again. It will help rekindle the creative spark, remind you why you enjoy writing, and create new ways to express the stories you want to tell - and sell!
