AUTHOR BIOGRAPHIES
Guillermo Gomez-Pena is a performance artist, writer, activist, and educator. He is the author of nine books including Ethno Techno and Dangerous Border Crossers, both published by Routledge. His performance pieces include Border Brujo (1988), Crucifiction project (1994) and the Mapa/Corpo series (2004-2008). He is founder of the San Franciso-based art collective La Pocha Nostra.

Roberto Sifuentes is an interdisciplinary artist founding member of La Pocha Nostra. As a performance pedagogue, he has been Artistic Director of The Trinity College/La MaMa Performing Arts Program NYC, and the 2008 Elena Diaz-Verson Amos Eminent Scholar in Latin American Studies at Columbus State University, Georgia. He is currently Assistant Professor of Performance at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
