SYNOPSIS Using humorous stories of survival in the 'burbs' as self indulgent daughter, non-corporate wife, stressed out mother, ambitious actor who can, in Brisbane, only imagine playing the roles of her dreams and therapist who wants to save the world, HOME moves backwards and forwards through time, travelling from Australia to Egypt and to the USA, and returning again and again to Brisbane the town we love to hate, and hate to leave.

PRODUCTION HISTORY Home had two years of exploration before it opened its doors at La Boite Theatre in July 2012 with three rehearsed readings in Mexico, U.S.A. and Australia.

Margi Brown Ash: deviser/performer/writer/director/acting trainer/ psychotherapist. Trained/ worked in USA, Europe, Australia. Brisbane is home: writing, performing, facilitating, training as Independent Artist: the nest, co-artistic director (2012 wrote/devised/performed EVE (Metro Arts Brisbane and Blue Room Perth) and HOME (La Boite); La Boite (2013 teaching Master Classes); QTC; Zen Zen Zo (2013 teaching Master Classes); The Good Room (2013 Consultant/coach); Imaginary Theatre (Associate Artist); Playlab (2012/13 \"LabRat\", working on her new work \"Man In Quotation Marks\"); Danger Ensemble (2013 Performer); Frank Theatre (2013 Suzuki training); Metro Arts Performance Program (2013 still embargoed but for one year's submersion); MixTape Collective, Toowoomba (2013 Mentor/coach), Grin & Tonic and Artist-in-Residence in regional Queensland.
